Another act has been confirmed for the Six Towns One City Carnival main stage.
Complementary to other reggae acts Abelwell and Disciples, Blackout JA and his dynamic performance may confuse you into thinking you’ve taken a left onto Hanley Park stepped into the Caribbean .
His approach to music is considered revolutionary, he using his music as a tool to fight oppression and set the captives free and to educate and entertain.
His previous successes have included working alongside international starts like Sly and Robbie.
With an already massive following across the Midlands .44 Pistol are bound to draw in a decent sized crowd at this years Six Towns One Carnival event.
Formed only two years ago in Stafford, they’ve already hit the 10,000 mile mark touring around the UK at various gigs and festivals.
This three piece are definitely going to being a few smiles to the attendees of the Six Towns One City Carnival.
There’s no backing tracks here, with a full live backing band with the whole nine yards, drums, guitars a few saxophones (you know how it goes) all topped of with some really refined vocal, you’ll kick your self if you miss out on this act.
With a mix of original work and covers, there’ll be something for everyone.

With a style that heavily features mellow rap over R’n’B rhythms, talking about love, life and sorrow and laugher.

We’re all still working really hard to try and get everything done before the carnival.
As you were made aware by the last blog post we’ve added another stage to this year’s lineup.
After the immense talent that featured at last year’s event we have to dig that little bit deeper into our city’s talent in order to find some fresh material to feature in this year’s event.
I imagine the majority of our fans, readers and followers know of some of our undiscovered talent.
If you know of any one, singers, musicians, dancers, magicians, absolutely anyone who has any thing to show case whatsoever, give us a shout.
And don’t worry, we’re not as mean a Simon Cowell.
